A full-fledged automobile with four seats at an affordable price – this is what Ferdinand Porsche was aiming for when he set out to design the Beetle in the 1930s, for a middle class demanding mobility. However, it was only after the Second World War that the “Beetle” became one of the highest volume mass-produced cars in automotive history. More than 21 million of the iconic "people's car" were produced in a period spanning over 60 years.

With this 200 piece kit you can assemble a detailed transparent engine model of the Beetle 1100. All parts of the model kit move exactly like the original.
